APS system that creates production schedules
at high speed for multiple items and multiple processes
Do you know what the most labor consuming work in implementing a production scheduler is? Data entry and maintenance. Asprova helps you minimize the labor of data entry and confirmation, however, by providing rich features for facilitating data maintenance such as Excel-like table views for easy data entry, search and replace features for locating necessary data within large data sets, and various display features for reducing mistakes.
All data relating to the schedule, such as items, resources, and orders, is stored in memory in the form of objects. The object window displays the hierarchical structure of all objects, making it easy to find the data you need.

Each object holds a number of properties, such as, for an order, "quantity" and "due date". When you select a bar on the Gantt chart or a row in the table view, the properties of the selected object are displayed in the properties window. This makes it easy to confirm the data settings of interest to you.

Displays messages that were generated during data loading, scheduling, etc. Since messages in Asprova2003 have a hierarchical structure, you can drill down to see the details of each message, making it easy to investigate the potential problems that the messages describe.
By spinning the mouse wheel while pressing the CTRL key, you can zoom in and zoom out on any of Asprova's windows. In this way, you can increase the amount of information displayed at once, making it easy to confirm the data of interest to you.
In the resource, order, and other table views, you can enter data in a similar manner as in Microsoft Excel.

You can copy and paste data in the table view and also to and from Excel.
You can automatically fill in a series of number patterns (such as 1,2,3... or a1,a2,a3...) as in Microsoft Excel.
You can have the background color and text color of each cell change depending on the value specified. In the order table, the background color is set initially to change depending on the order quantity and due date. This enables you to further ensure data accuracy.

You can sort and filter the rows of the table view using any property of the objects displayed. This makes it easy to find and check just the data you are interested in.

In the Integrated Master Editor, you can manage all the relevant master data for each finished item in a single screen. The data you can manage in the Integrated Master Editor includes process order (branching, merging), machines, workers, setup time, production time, teardown time, materials, required material quantities, time relationships between processes, lot sizes, production factors, scrap quantities, yield rates, and valid conditions. By centrally managing the master data, you can confirm data settings at a glance. This makes inputting and confirming master data easy, reduces simple mistakes, and improves the efficiency of your work.

You can jump from each item, operation, or order to filter and display master data corresponding to that item, operation, or order. This enables instant confirmation of master data.

You can register multiple routings for a single item.
Example: Change the routing depending on the order due date.
Example: Change the routing depending on the order quantity.
You can register multiple ways of using resources for a single process.
Example: WorkerB will work on MachineA and WorkerD on MachineC.
Example: Orders of CustomerE cannot be assigned to WorkerD.

You can specify production time and setup time by an expression.
Example: 10 min. + 2 min. per piece
Example: Production time as a logarithmic function of production qty
Example: Production time as a step function of production qty
You can specify required material quantity by an expression.
Example: 2 input items for 1 output item + 1
Example: Required quantity as a logarithmic function of output qty
Example: Required quantity as a step function of output qty
