How to Get Started with Asprova E-Learning

The Asprova E-Learning Courses take you from the very basics of understanding how schedules are produced all the way up to the actual configuration of the scheduling logic and the importing and exporting of data. To enhance the quality of your E-Learning experience we would like to recommend that you also download the free version of the Asprova software and the accompanying manuals and data as well. Downloading and Installing the E-Learning Course Materials

  1. Register as an Asprova Member / Update Member Information

    In order to download the the Free Trial Version of Asprova and the E-Learning course materials (text and data) it is necessary to either register as an Asprova Member or update your membership information. Being a member will allow you access to the Asprova download page where you can download various members-only contents.

  2. Download the Free Trial Version of Asprova

    After your membership has been accepted/updated we will contact you by email to explain about how to access the Trial Version of Asprova APS and the Asprova E-Learning course materials download page. You will be able to access the download page by logging on with your member ID and password. From the download page please select the AsprovaAPS Installer to download it to your PC's desktop.

  3. Install the Free Trial Version of Asprova

    The file that you downloaded in Step 2 has been compressed as a ZIP file. Please unzip it to your desktop. (You will require a ZIP file utility to unzip this file). Within the unzipped folder, please execute the file "Setup.exe" and follow the installation instructions on the screen.

  4. Download the E-Learning Course Materials

    The various E-Learning course materials (text and data) can be downloaded from the same page as the Free Trial Version of Asprova. In the same way, you will be able to access the download page by logging on with your member ID and password. From the download page please select the required E-Learning course materials to download them to your PC's desktop.

  5. Preparing the Course Materials for your E-Learning Course

    The file that you downloaded in Step 4 has also been compressed as a ZIP file. Please unzip it to your desktop. Depending on the course materials selected the unzipped folder will contain the relevant text and data, as detailed below.

    6. Asprova Introductory Training
    The Introductory Training course materials are included with the Free Trial Version of Asprova. There is no need to download these materials separately. Please check in the Asprova folder, which can by accessed from: [All Programs] - [Asprova APS]. The manual is called "Beginning with Sample 1" and the corresponding data is in the Samples sub-folder, a file called "(1) Packing".

    Asprova Hands-on Training
    The Hands-on Training course materials consists of two folders:
       EL-Hands-onManual
       EL-Hands-onData
    The EL-Hands-onManual contains the text files (in PDF format).
    The EL-Hands-onData contains the data files.

  6. Accessing the E-Learning Courses

    In order to watch the E-Learning Course videos it is necessary to register as an Asprova Member. Once you have registered then you will be able to log-on with your member ID and password. Please click below for a list of the various Asprova E-Learning Courses available.
