1.Right-click on a use instruction bar on the resource Gantt chart. The use instruction bar popup menu will be displayed.
2.Select [Operation] - [Edit Operation...] from the use instruction bar popup menu. Properties of the use instruction for the operation you selected will be displayed in the properties window.
3.Select the General tab from the properties window.
4.Specify a time for the property "User specified EST".
5.The specified EST will be considered as a time constraint during scheduling.
6.You can specify the user specified EST for an operation only after Asprova generated the operation from scheduling.

2.Specify a split ratio for the property "Split number" in the Split tab of the properties window.
3.If you reschedule, the operation will be split and assigned according to the specified split ratio.
4.When you specify a split ratio, use semicolons to separate numbers, e.g. 1;1.
Q: How to carry out split operations in parallel

1.Right-click on the operation you want to split and assign in parallel and select [Operation] - [Edit Operation...] from the popup menu.
2.Specify a value for the property "Split number" or "Split ratio" in the Split tab of the properties window.
3.Specify the number of resources to which you want to assign the split operations for the property "Split parallel number" in the Split tab of the properties window.
4.If you reschedule, the operation will be split and assigned according to the split number and split parallel number you specified.
