How to specify alternative resources

Q:How alternative resources can be specified?

A:

Steps:

1.In the Integrated Master, specify multiple input rows for "use instructions" of which the "Item" is the same.
2.Specify large values in the "Resource priority" field for resources you want to prioritize.

In the scheduling parameter settings, you can specify values for the property "Weight - resource priority" that can be displayed from the property "Resource evaluation" in the General tab so as to create a schedule in which operations are assigned to resources with higher priorities.

How to schedule workers

Q:How to schedule workers

A:

Steps:

1.Select the Integrated Master.
2.Add a use instruction to the process that requires a worker.
3.Specify "S0" in the "Instruction code" field.
4.Specify the resource code of the worker in the "Resource/Item" field.
5.Specify "0" in the "Production" field.

* For the instruction code "S0", 10 codes from S0 to S9 are recognized as sub resources by default. You can also use other strings for sub resources by changing the settings of the use instruction master.

How to schedule metal molds and jigs

Q:How to schedule metal molds and jigs

A:

Steps:

1.Select the Integrated Master.
2.Add a use instruction to the process in which a metal mold is used.
3.Specify "S0" in the "Instruction code" field.
4.Specify the resource code of the metal mold in the "Resource/Item" field.
5.Specify "0" in the "Production" field.

* For the instruction code "S0", 10 codes from S0 to S9 are recognized as sub resources by default. You can also use other strings for sub resources by changing the settings of the use instruction master.

How to schedule a setup worker

Q:How to schedule a setup worker

A:

Steps:

1.Select the Integrated Master.
2.Add a use instruction to the process that requires a setup worker.
3.Specify "S0" in the "Instruction code" field.
4.Specify the resource code of the setup worker in the "Resource/Item" field.
5.Specify "0" in the "Setup" field.

* For the instruction code "S0", 10 codes from S0 to S9 are recognized as sub resources by default. You can also use other strings for sub resources by changing the settings of the use instruction master.

How to assign multiple workers to one operation

Q:How to assign multiple workers to one operation

A:

Steps:

1.In the resource table in which setup workers are specified, set the property "Resource quantity constraints" to "Constrained".
2.Instruction type of the Integrated Master: Specify a velue for the property "Required resource quantity" of the use instruction so that the target number of workers are assigned to the resource.

Also, you can specify workers as sub resources. Resources for which the instruction code Sn is specified are called sub resources. Sub resources are assigned to the same time as the corresponding main resources are assigned.

How to specify that one worker can operate multiple machines

Q: Steps: 1.Select the Integrated Master. ...

A:

Steps:

1.Select the Integrated Master.
2.Add a use instruction to the process that requires the worker.
3.Specify "S0" in the "Instruction code" field.
4.Specify the resource code of the setup worker in the "Resource/Item" field.
5.Specify 0.5 in the "Required resource quantity" field.

* For the instruction code "S0", 10 codes from S0 to S9 are recognized as sub resources by default. You can also use other strings for sub resources by changing the settings of the use instruction master.

How to specify the maximum quantity that a certain combination of an item and a resource can produce at once

Q:How to specify the maximum quantity that a certain combination of an item and a resource can produce at once

A:

Steps:

1.Instruction type of the Integrated Master: Specify the above-stated maximum quantity in the "Operation split size MAX" field of the use instruction.

If you specify 0 for "Operation split size MAX", there will be no quantity constraint. If the production quantity of an operation is larger than the operation split size MAX, the operation will be automatically split.

How to increase a setup time in proportion to the production quantity

Q:How to increase a setup time in proportion to the production quantity

A:

Steps:

1.Specify a formula such as 1mp for the property "Setup" or "Teardown" of the use instruction in the Integrated Master.

You can specify a formula in the same way as specifying a formula for the property "Production".

How to specify an external setup

Q:How to specify an external setup

A:

Steps:

1.Insert a use instruction row in the Integrated Master.
2.Specify a setup time in the "Setup" field of the use instruction in the Integrated Master.
