1. Move tasks from the table to the resource Gantt chart (version restriction feature)
Tasks from the table can now be smoothly assigned to the resource Gantt chart by simply dragging and dropping them.
Drag the task row headers from the table to the resource Gantt chart, as shown in the figure above.
Once dropped, it can be assigned to a resource Gantt chart.
This new feature makes task allocation more intuitive than ever before.
Detailed specifications are as follows:HelpPlease see.
2. Function to retrieve the value of pivot row properties in pivot tables (version-limited function)
You can now reference pivot row properties in pivot tables using expressions.
This now allows, for example, the cell colors in pivot tables to be determined based on more specific conditions.
In the figure below, the resource specified in the pivot row property (the resource column in the figure) is referenced in the background color expression of the pivot content, and the cells for holidays are set to gray.
3. Improved scrolling when moving work on the Gantt chart
The chart automatically scrolls when a bar is moved to the edge of the window. The following improvements have been made to this scrolling:
1: Display of guides for automatic scrolling
When the cursor is moved to the edge, the area that will be automatically scrolled is displayed.
We also made the following changes:
・The width of the area where automatic scrolling begins has been doubled.
・The faster the cursor approaches the edge, the faster the scrolling.
2: Adjusting the automatic scrolling speed
We have adjusted the scrolling speed because it was sometimes too fast.
4. Number formatting
Number formatting in tables and charts can now be set with a single property.
Previously, each property had to be set individually, but now we have added two options to the “Number Format” property in the workspace, allowing you to format all numbers with comma separators.
This makes it easier to read large numbers by separating the integer part every three digits, for example.
Here’s an example of how to set it up if you want to use a dot as the decimal separator and a comma as the thousands separator:
Update button for the sample results in the expression dialog
We have also improved the sample display in the expression editing dialog to show the color preview result on the background.
Previously, it was difficult to intuitively understand what color would be applied when using expressions to set colors for bars, text, cells, and other elements. So, we have improved the background color of the sample display, allowing you to instantly check the color while entering data.
6. LDAPS support
When the authentication method for logging into Asprova NLS is set to “Active Directory” or “Active Directory (Single Sign On)”, Asprova performs Active Directory authentication using SSL/TLS communication. (*This is the so-called LDAPS support.) If the Active Directory you are using is not configured to use SSL/TLS communication, authentication will be performed using the conventional method without SSL/TLS.
